I have experience working with young people and I have seen firsthand the difference a quality education and cradle-to-career model can make in a young person’s life.

We need to place the necessary support around kids so they can thrive. I want to see partnerships with schools and nonprofits to provide these services.

Investment in education is also good for Evansville’s economy. We need to retain and attract a skilled and talented workforce. Developing the workforce of tomorrow requires investing in education today. Job training is crucial and Evansville is home to top-notch universities and a community college that has the potential to enact and strengthen effective partnerships.

As Mayor, I will be a convener who gathers all the necessary players together to help all kids advance.
