Care for Our Neighborhoods & Parks

I have a track record of supporting initiatives that improve the quality of life for residents in Evansville while on the County Council.

I proudly approved funding a partnership with AT&T to make high speed internet, an essential utility, accessible countywide. I also supported a $1 million investment in arts and culture organizations.

We need to develop our neighborhoods by maintaining, improving, and activating our parks and by prioritizing development and blight removal in underserved areas throughout our community. I want to see us invest resources to create housing that is affordable and continue to implement our complete streets plan that improves safety, equitable access, and will help connect community members to places in Evansville.

I’m looking forward to sponsoring a citywide series of neighborhood gatherings in our parks, recreation centers, and library, as well as cookouts and concerts during the spring and summer months in partnership with groups/neighborhood associations in order to foster a sense of community around shared public assets.
